In recent years, the line between work and personal time has gotten a bit blurry as we become an increasingly connected society. We take care of personal or family needs during work and we regularly bring work home with us.

If you've experienced the changing boundaries between work and personal life too, In Between restaurant is the place for you. Located on the second floor of the Eslite Hotel (誠品行旅), the design of this French eatery lets your imagination run free while you explore the culinary delights of Executive Chef Pippen Lin (林玉罡).
The decor is modern classic, yet simple. The floor-to-ceiling windows bring the verdant surroundings of the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park (松山文創園區) to your dining table, including an amazing view of Taipei 101. The red brick wall sitting on your back — a masterpiece of industrial art — give an impression of both strength and authenticity.
The same is true with the food. Using the freshest ingredients, Lin successfully highlights the original flavors of French cuisine with Taiwan characteristics, including the Boston Lobster (波士頓活龍蝦) and Champignon Mushroom Chicken Roll (烏骨雞香檳蓉捲).
Boiled with herbs and vegetables for two hours, the signature seafood dish is then roasted with butter and spices and served with American Cajun spice to bring to the surface a wonderful variety of complex flavors. The different cooking techniques let the chef express the versatility of Boston lobsters which are succulent, fresh and sweet.
Meanwhile, Champignon Mushroom Chicken Roll gives you a glimpse into Taiwan's mountain scenery. Using local ingredients, Lin again brings his French cooking skills to highlight the rich flavors of Taiwan black-bone chicken. The rolls are served with fried vegetables and a truffle cream sauce that further adds depth of flavor to the dish.
You will also find a wine cellar with a collection of fine wines from Europe, the Americas, and Australia that will further help you to see the changing boundaries between our work and personal lives, and eventually help you slow down your pace in life.
