林書豪才因火箭隊迎接安東尼的大海報事件，在臉書Po文表示不滿，結果火箭隊總經理莫瑞（Daryl Morey）就在推特留言表示，只要安東尼確定加入火箭隊，林書豪就一定會被交易走，讓許多球迷十分錯愕。

為了網羅自由球員甜瓜加入，火箭隊不惜在迎接海報上讓安東尼穿上7號球衣，絲毫不顧慮火箭隊7號林書豪的感受，引起球迷們的撻伐，結果今（3）日火箭隊總管莫瑞又在推特上發表驚人之語！莫瑞表示，「只要安東尼來，林書豪就勢必要被交易，這並非是什麼個人問題，而是因為我的責任就是讓球隊贏球。」

莫瑞也說，他知道這樣的感覺真的很傷人，不過他也無可奈何，因為甜瓜安東尼原本就是7號，而且他（甜瓜）也想要繼續保有這個背號。而火箭隊與安東尼的會面也十分順利，對於甜瓜未來的選擇，莫瑞覺得十分樂觀。

He told us that. Bottomline, if Carmelo comes Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin have to be traded. It's just math.it's not personal. My job is every day figure out how to win. Sometimes it creates challenging situations.
